Being human is not always easy, and life’s challenges can make the journey seem difficult at times. The process of working through these challenges may feel overwhelming, but you don’t have to face it alone. I believe that everyone can find their light at the end of the tunnel, and my goal is to help individuals recognize and value their inner strength through life’s experiences. I enjoy incorporating existential and cognitive-behavioral approaches to therapy, helping clients find meaning and purpose in their lives.
I graduated from the University of Houston-Downtown in 2018 with a B.S. in Psychology and a minor in Sociology. I went on to earn my master’s degree in clinical mental health counseling from the University of St. Thomas, and I am currently licensed as an LPC Associate (supervised by Jessica Eiseman, LPC-S). As a first-generation graduate and the daughter of immigrants, I am deeply committed to supporting Spanish-speaking individuals and those who seek to be seen and heard. I have experience working with Spanish-speaking clients, as well as children in both counseling and educational settings.
I provide support for individuals, adults, children, and teens, with specialties in trauma, anxiety, depression, and working with immigration clients. Additionally, I am passionate about helping first-generation students navigate their unique challenges and find their path to success. Together, we can explore your strengths and work toward healing and growth.

As a therapist, I aim to create a healing environment where we can identify and manage unhelpful thought patterns, such as self-doubt and anxiety. If you’ve been struggling with thoughts like “Why am I like this?” or “I should be grateful,” together we can work on recognizing these as unproductive thinking habits. My approach is Person-Centered, focusing on treating you with respect and creating a nonjudgmental space for growth and self-discovery.
I hold a BA in Psychology and a Master’s in Mental Health Counseling from the University of Houston Clear Lake. My diverse experience includes working with children, adults, and individuals in recovery across private practice, schools, community mental health, and inpatient/outpatient settings. I use an eclectic approach, blending evidence-based methods like Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), play therapy, sand tray therapy, and bibliotherapy to meet your unique needs.
I specialize in working with individuals struggling with addiction, chronic pain, codependency, intimate partner violence, anxiety, depression, and sexual trauma. Additionally, I support those navigating grief and various general life issues. I work with children aged 10 and older, adults, and LGBTQ+ clients, offering a safe, nonjudgmental space where we can explore and make positive changes in your life.
